Barnsley FC are inviting supporters to vote on images that will be displayed in the players' tunnel at Oakwell. This initiative, introduced under new Head Coach Conor Hourihane, is part of a wider effort to update the matchday environment and reinforce a clear club identity - one that recognises Barnsley’s history while looking ahead. Supporters are being asked to contribute by voting for images that best represent significant moments, figures, or matches in Barnsley’s history. “We want the tunnel to be a space that reflects what the Club stands for – past and present,” said Hourihane. “Supporters are central to that identity, so it’s important they have a say in how it's represented.” This is one of several changes being implemented at Oakwell to strengthen the connection between the Club and its supporters, alongside facility improvements and increased fan engagement. Supporters can email their suggestions to Mediafiles@barnsleyfc.co.uk Continue reading...
My suggestions. (Sent) Clint marcelle goal v Bradford city 1997. Crowd shot of Barnsley fans doing 'you'll never walk alone'. Anfield 1982. Outnumbered the Liverpool fans. 16k. Hammill goal v Millwall at Wembley
Picture of crowd at Oakwell v Man City, 1982 I think. 33,700 in League Cup. If they've got one of Trevor Aylott rising majestically to nod in the winner, all the better.
Jovo Bosancic dancing in the directors box in nothing but a pair of white Y fronts when we got promoted to the Premier League. It's a disgrace he never seems to be invited back.
I see this every day on my way to work https://images.app.goo.gl/uit2e9hqZ788EtRM9 and always wondered if we could do something similar.
Break Shea flagging off the fans That Brad Potts tackle where he cut someone in half to stop a break Frimpong's signing photo holding up the shirt with a thousand yard stare Mido on the exercise bike
Are we trying to encourage players or put them off? I'd have a photo of Neil Redfearn wiping sweat off his face. Conor holding the playoff cup at Wembley. Any photo of Mick McCarthy. The photo of Danny Wilson and Eric Winstanley hugging after the Bradford game. Adam Hamill just after he'd scored his wonder goal at Wembley.
I would love to see the images of all those Barnsley fans at Middlesborough, 81 I think. 5th round of the FA cup.
What? Pissing down the back of other fans legs cos it was impossible to move to get tut bogs lol. Outbreaks of fights inside the ground on the corners. Or the shenanigans inside and outside the cemetery walking back tut busses.
It's good, but it's no Keith Treacy with his **** out, or Sessi D'Almeida's tinder profile with a fake name.
