Looks like something a kid would have sent to Live and Kicking for a competition back in the day. And it wouldn't have won owt then.
I actually quite like it as a painting of two people. But it's a painting of two specific people and it doesn't look like them. There's a smidge of Liam in what is supposed to be Liam, but the only way I can recognise Noel is because he's stood next to a bloke who looks a little bit like Liam. I may be old fashioned but I reckon a picture of the blokes from Oasis should look like the blokes from Oasis. A painting can be heavily stylised and still capture the essence of the subject. For me, this doesn't.
There's a smidge of virtually every 90's indie musician in the two people. If someone told me it was Ian Brown and one of the blokes from Ocean Colour Scene, I'd have accepted that just as much as it being the Gallaghers. Keith Flint with Skin from Skunk Anansie might be pushing it a bit mind.....
Hard to tell who is suppose to be who. I didn't know they were in to lipstick. It looks more like Liams sons Lennon and Gene.
