It's going to be 30°, they're going to have to shut the roads around town this year - it's going to be rammed.
I went last year and whilst it was busy, there were few places where you couldn't get a drink or even in the venue. It was packed in Soul Lounge, and Underground didn't have enough bar staff on, otherwise, it was a great day. The weather was good then too, albeit not as hot as is forecast this weekend. There's 29 venues taking part now too, which eases the overcrowding issue a bit.
Went yesterday from about 12:30 till 7ish, thoroughly enjoyed it, suffering a bit for it but hey ho. Hats off to organisers and volunteers etc, it looked to be all going well without incidents (As far as I could see anyway) Saw a few bands and Highlights for me was the Quo tribute band in Soul bar and Metallica one in Civic. Anyone see the guy with the small pony and cart going up market hill by the Soul bar Hope it was the success that it looked to be and that everyone enjoyed it as I did. Can’t wait for next year’s.
