Reap what you saw. No wonder fans are fed up with the clowns in charge.

Weren't you defending them not long since? I've been saying for over 12 months Neerav and co need to get the club put up for sale and move on.

Whilst I'm not happy with things problem is mate that new owners would face the same financial challenges, we need 8m a season just to tread water.
If new owners came in and said to conor here's 5m to spend realistically that 5m costs 13m.
Until we either increase turnover through attendances, merchandise, hospitality and player sales then we have to cut overheads which means cheaper players on lower wages.

I'm not defending btw and we need to be alot alot better on things, bit correct me if I'm wrong didn't we just have record sponsorship deals?
The amount of money being spent on wages, agents etc is ridiculous now.
The options available at present are take risks which could be financial suicide or somehow try and get the costs down.
Alot of fans (not saying you) want us to sign a minibus full of players so they can get all excited and shout were going up, we can't afford it mate unless new owners want to come in and spend spend spend for nothing in return.

It's awful to say but it is what it is.

Maybe I don't think they are as bad a conman and Lee but we're just stagnating. They've put money in its there in black and white but they just don't seem very good at running a football club.

But I bet the DoF didn't argue much when he found out the board were sacking the head coaches instead of the bloke who shafted them both.

Conor has a slight advantage in that he has seen this happen several times before, when he was a player here. He has also been witness to BFC mucking around as a coach/head coach so he knows their methods.
The team was torn apart the moment he lifted the playoff trophy at Wembley and nothing has changed since.
    He knows what to expect.
I don't know if that's good or bad.

They've wasted every penny of the money they've put in because of their and the people they've hired to run the clubs incompetence.

The club lose £9m pa as a result of the choices made by the board. Revenue at this level is very predictable.

They have chosen to sign a plethora of players hoping to find quality whilst having to meet an ever burgeoning wage bill.

It will take years to trim the squad and years of losses need to be funded to achieve that.

If DKD leaves for £5m that covers about 6 months of losses. A sobering thought.

And in terms of cash flows it would likely be paid in 3-4 instalments meaning that is would barely touch the sides each year.

You make some very good points indeed, it doesn't always work out but if you look at the recruitment parameters around DKD, still presented a risk as he had not done it at this level before, but it was a big transfer fee by this and L2 levels, but it's paid off.
Cosgrove did OK at Plymouth at this level and wonderfully well at Aberdeen- it didn't work out his profile just didn't fit how we played whatsoever, it was no coincidence when we put crosses into the box 2nd leg v Bolton he scored twice.
Dallas, Shaw, Rodrigues, Lembikisa, Lewis, slonina, Craig I have absolutely no idea what pie strategy is/was regards to those signings.

I often look at us and think it's like asking someone to climb a mountain and giving them a boat.
What's the point in keep having a playing philosophy and not aligning it to recruitment.

We seem a very muddled club

No point getting worked up about signings. We’ll be utilising academy and players returning from loan spells. Hourihane can’t be happy with the false promises.

Dunno bud, I’m not really into assumptive scenarios. Was just pointing out that Sormaz won’t have jettisoned either coach. Decisions of that nature are made at board level.

Decision of this magnitude will be made at board level but boards are supplied information from their executives.

From recent interviews it’s pretty clear that Neerav puts a lot of store in the information provided by Mladen. He may not be the decision maker but I would wager that he is a key influencer.

You don’t have to assume anything, according to Neerav our DOF is doing a great job so he will definitely have asked him his views on the head coach. Not sure why you would think this would not happen.
