Announced deal with Oxen. Training gear will be out next week, home kit will be shown before friendly against Emley and available to buy in mid-July.
https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2025/june/20/barnsley-fc-x-oxen/ For something we got told was on the way here, mid July is some wait. Its quite poor to be getting only the home kit out two weeks before the season starts. People can spend 50 on a shirt that if you're lucky you get two months to show it off before it's hidden under a jumper or coat.
Brand looks like something that makes kits for Sunday league sides. Well can’t be much worse than kidsuper inspired nonsense.
I posted this a few weeks ago. The make some good RLFC kits, including GB kit. They've made Donnys kit for the last few seasons. A family member has this seasons new Donny Kit. Seems decent quality, but the socks have pulled quite easily. They also make Lincoln and Shrewsbury kits. I believe they are Donny based, so it's great to keep that business within South Yorkshire on what is an established but increasingly popular sports brand.
Record breaking deal. Yorkshire based. And no mention of a third kit either. All sounds good to me. Would have been nice to have seen them and had them on sale by now, but in fairness, I’m not the audience as I don’t buy replica gear. I just hope they are respectful of club tradition and that it’s financially sound in terms of revenue.
Barnsley Football Club is pleased to announce that Yorkshire-founded sports brand Oxen will become our official kit partner for the 2025/26 season. In a record-breaking new agreement, the South Yorkshire-based manufacturer Oxen will produce all playing kits and training wear for the first team and academy for the next two years. Oxen Sports is one of the UK’s fastest-growing performance wear brands, with a strong presence across fitness, running, and rugby league. Known for delivering technically advanced apparel and equipment, Oxen has rapidly expanded into professional football in recent years — designing bespoke kits for clubs including Lincoln City, Shrewsbury Town, and Doncaster Rovers. In addition to home, away, goalkeeper kits and training wear, a variety of other Oxen x Barnsley FC products will be released online and in-store throughout the season. Barnsley CEO Jon Flatman said: “We are really pleased to be in a position to announce that Oxen is our new official kit provider. We kicked off a significant project around a year ago to find a new partner and, following an extensive search, we decided to work with Oxen because of the quality of their product, their ambition to grow in the football market, and the fact that their operations are based here in Yorkshire. We feel they will understand sports fans in our region, and we are confident that they can improve the ranges we offer to supporters over the next two years.” Lee Jenkinson, CEO of Oxen, said: “We’re incredibly proud to partner with Barnsley FC, a club with deep roots, passionate supporters, and a bold vision for the future. As a Yorkshire-founded brand, this collaboration means a great deal to us. We’re committed to delivering high-quality, technically advanced products that reflect the ambition of the club and resonate with its community.” The new 25/26 training range will be on display from Monday when the players and coaching staff return for pre-season, and it will be available in-store in early July ahead of the school holidays. Our 25/26 home kit will be revealed ahead of our first friendly against AFC Emley on 1st July and will be on sale in-store and online by mid-July. Oxen have a store at Junction 32, Castleford. Decent range of all the RL kits and training gear that they produce. And as said numerous times on here, they provide football kits for various teams.

To be fair those look a bit more like 'designed' football shirts. Hopefully ours is a designed jersey and not a branded T.
Look at the state of the training gear. We did this last time we slumped this low down the football pyramid, Red Flag!.
I’m actually looking forward to seeing it. They’ve done a decent job with Leeds Rhinos, Shrewsbury, Lincoln and Donny. No reason to suggest they won’t do with us. I think people may frown on it due to them not being a “name”. I remember when castore first came on the scene. They now produce some really good stuff and have grown their brand tremendously. Let’s see what comes out.
As i said before, we shouldgo all the way and just sell Rola Cola and Ruddles Best in the concessions. 'Oxen' indeed. What a load of *****.
