Do we, who post on here, think that it's possible to stop criticising the club about post season / pre season activity?
    I think not.
Please let's wait and judge once we know what's happening.
Humphreys? It's a pity but if he didn't want to stay then fc1k him. He could have prospered under Conor but I guess the ££££££ bought his loyalty.

Yeah I was saying the same yesterday, that maybe he got on better with Conor.
Being played correctly helps of course, and I think it might have been good for them both.
But if he was being greedy with unrealistic demands, then sod it, we move on.

Russell just headed Jamaica in front, so his value rises.

Agreed, mate. Now had he worked his nads off and had a phenomenal season, fair enough. But he had a decent start and a decent end. Hardly worthy of mega praise.

On another thread about Humphrys there's a comment that faith in the recruitment team is low...Maybe if we saw someone decent come in it may improve a little....

Ultimately its this for me and I assume quite a few others. Absolutely sod all has happened at Oakwell (publicly anyway) while L1 rivals hoover up decent, experienced players left right and centre. Again.

I can’t even raise a meh or opinion on anything Oakwell related. It is what it is. I really am feeling that way about football in general with the constant saturation now. I am giving it one more season of Sky and TNT but will then probably ditch both off my TV package. Still waiting for football to eat itself at the higher echelons but afraid only Championship downwards will be the losers.

The club don't care so why should I? Still can't buy a carpark season ticket by the way, any chance the fab group could mention this? It is over a year since it was first raised after all.

Clubs sinking, along with the FAB group hopefully. Total waste of time.

Prospered under Conor? The jury is still massively out on him as a Head Coach. Shown absolutely nothing to warrant or prove he's capable of managing at this level...... And that's not even including the $hitshow that is the rest of the club.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, and I honestly wish people would just be a bit more patient, people are entitled to their opinion. It drives me mad that we're in June and some of our fan base have written the season off already, but that's up to them, even if I find it baffling.

That’ s a fair point but things will get better in time. The Club is still in ‘freefall’ imo and we haven’t yet reached our level. For those of us that have watched BFC for decades it’s obviously disappointing (to say the least). It feels like a re-set to the days before the Clarke revolution. Not a good place to be but it’s so long since we’ve seen a positive action coming out of the Club and there’s no evidence we’ve reached our floor yet.

Is there anything at all coming out of the club right now that offers even a semblance of hope for the new season though? We’re 6 weeks away from starting and the players are back for training next week. There’s nothing at all and even the most optimistic have to admit that. Sormaz once again lied through his back teeth about a competitive budget and early business being done.
Neerav’s interview a few months back should’ve told us the priority would be offloading what talent we have to get some cash in.
I’ve bought my ticket but right now I’m not looking forward to the season kicking off at all.

Is there any way the fab group can get the question asked earlier? I've tried myself several times but have not been given a straight answer. 8th July is just 3 weeks before the start of the season which is far too late to start asking about season tickets going on sale.

It's something that is really pissing me off and I'm very close to requesting a refund on over 1000 pounds worth of tickets that I am fearful I won't be able to use and it seems that nobody actually gives a toss about it

As you say, we're 6 weeks away from the start of the season. Whilst it's not ideal that we've not signed anyone yet, it's a complete myth that your season hinges on what happens in mid June. Barring maybe Connell, all of our more influential players over the last few years have been signed after the season started.
