Absolutely spot on. They're in their 50's and carrying on like they're 20 again. Reality is they've been making bland MOR dad-rock for the last 20 years. Putting your shades back on, being a kn0bhead, fleecing the fans and signing up with Stone Island isn't cool. It really isn't.
Absolute pillocks the both of em, but it’s cool to like them apparently as opposed to a band like say Coldplay who put on a fantastic show no matter what & behave like model citizens regardless of whether you like their music or not (subjective). More fool you if you paid them ludicrous fee’s, cos I can guarantee the chemistry from the brothers will be non existent & the atmosphere awful full of pissed up cokeheads scantily clad in their stone island gear.
Said as soon as it was announced they’ll definitely film it. Either someone like netflix, Amazon etc will give them £50 million for the rights or they’ll show it in cinemas. Maybe both.
No European dates announced for the Plans 20th Anniversary Tour, unfortunately, and seeing as it starts a month today I'm guessing that's that.
Coldplay is lift music, Oasis are the greatest rock band in the world quite possibly ever, Ive waited decades for them to reform and I would've paid whatever price, got tickets for 1st date at Heaton Park. Oh and chemistry between the brothers, utter bilge, they will blow the crowds away, I get it you're a hater and music is the most subjective subject of all, but dont compare Oasis to Coldplay ffs they're not on the same planet.
The similarity between Coldplay and Oasis is that I’d rather stick pins in my eyes than go and watch either. The difference between Coldplay and Oasis is, if I could commandeer a TARDIS I’d quite happily go and re-attend all the Oasis gigs I went to between 1994 and Knebworth, but with regard to Coldplay, I’d set the TARDIS to a time before they existed.
Haha it’s been a while, you took the bait & got reeled in hook line & sinker. Like you say, music is subjective, you love Oasis, great, I hope you have a great time seeing them live! for the record i don’t hate Oasis, i quite like a few of their records, i just like Coldplay more, because we can’t all like the same stuff & comparing them is like comparing apples & oranges. Each to their own & all that.
