    This is why test Cricket cannot be matched. In to day 5 and all 3 options still a possibility.

    It's also why Headingley should always have a test. We produced the most classics.

    1st innings 471 off 113 overs second innings 465 off 100 overs. Third innings 364 off 96 overs. We're going to need 350 more from max 90 overs. Bucking the trend of the game in the process. No chance. Draw or India. I just hope we don't lose too many wickets in morning session.

    What order are the test matches?

    I suspect it's Lords then Edgbaston. We never win at Lord's and it heaps pressure on Edgbaston (a ground we do well at usually). Lose Edgbaston after our usual defeat at Lords then it's drawn series at best.

    The point of this rant is we could schedule the series to suit us better.

    90% chance of rain this morning, unless the Met Office is wrong. What could be a fascinating last day could be ruined by the weather. It’s about time reserve days were brought in for test matches. The logistics might not work but surely you can schedule an optional sixth day if one of the five are lost (or at least that number of hours, if not in one day).
