Remember Pallister and Mowbray passing ball between themselves in last minutes and all around us clapping because we thought all we needed was to play for time and we also in play offs ha!

I remember one season we advertised a burger and a pint (something like that anyway) as a special deal at a higher price than buying them separately.

That was a "that's my boy" moment. Special.

Beating Liverpool and Chelsea to get to the FA Cup semi-final - only to lose that to a team who finished mid-table in the same division as us

Leading 4-1 after 80 minutes and drawing 4-4. I think we did that twice, against Ipswich and Stockport.

Allowing 2 tickets per season ticket holder vs Liverpool at Anfield when the number of season ticket holders exceeded the allocation already.

And the Middlesbrough fans taking the mick when we left, made things worse.
And the fact that we'd done the league double over the team who won the Play offs!.
Which was Notts County, and Colin W*Ker.
    Typical!!.

When we conceded against Colchester in the 97th minute when they had 9 men.

I think that's one of the only games I've ever been genuinely fuming leaving. Pretty sure they were already relegated too, and we chucked away 2 points to them and their 9 men meaning we needed to win at the champions Wigan the week after...thankfully that went alright!

Beating the runaway leaders and eventual Champions Newcastle, 1-0 at home in Dec '92.
But losing 3-0 the following week, away at bottom of the table Southend.
And we've done things like that, many times over the years.

Conceding 3 in the last 5 minutes against Ipswich. I think it was Ian Marshall who came on for them and turned the game on its head

In season '89, when we stayed up under Machin.
We were the only team to win away at Champions Leeds in the league, and did the double over them.
And we also won away at eventual runners up Sheff Ure.
But compare that with two seasons later, we failed to win any of the 6 games against the three relegated teams.
And both Brighton and Plymouth, did doubles over us.
    How typically frustrating!!.

Losing 3-2 at home to Cambridge right at the end of the season, they were bottom and hadn't won an away game all season.

I’ve never known Oakwell as flat. They more than made up for it the next week though.

I think trying to time the sacking of a manager perfectly by sacking him just before fixtures against a Mansfield side who hadn’t won in 15 & then bottom of the league Cambridge but only taking 1 point from 6 is a good one. Did all they could to get a new manager bounce & still failed.

I was in West lower too. You could see the upset on the player's faces so clearly.
Six years later I was in the company of one of Brighton's directors and ge found it highly amusing....the tw.at lol
