    I think it was an act , he came on with a pint of Guinness and never touched it ,the fake stagger about before getting on a moving walkway at the front of the stage suddenly sobering up . I don’t know much about them but the band seemed competent if not looking a bit bored . The singer was trying a bit too hard to be a ‘rock’ star but sang ok

    He’s the son of Tim Healy and Denise Welch so acting is in his blood. .. Their music is a bit meh for me, but I couldn’t watch him for more than a song or two. Each to their own!

    Numan for me too. Seen him a few times recently live and his new stuff (IMHO) is very good indeed. Be interesting to see him at Glasto - first time ever apparently.

    Brillliant in an o2 venue. Seen him in Deedarsville a few times and off to Leeds O2 in November. Deffo more than Cars. Since 2000 his stuff is dark and really heavy.

    Jarvis reminds me so much of 1970s schoolteachers. He’s just missing the elbow patches.

    I was at the 1995 Glastonbury set he referenced, when they headlined after The Stone Roses pulled out. Possibly the highlight of the two Glastonburys I attended in person (94 and 95). I love the fact that I also got to see Johnny Cash play live there. We turned up out of curiousity, more than anything, although I'd grown up hearing my Dad play mainly country music if he put a record on. He'd got everyone hooked after two songs.
