I’m no fan of Starmer, and I actually think he’ll be removed before the next GE, as he’s that unpopular.

But I can’t see why folk who complained about certain policy decisions, are now upset that he’s “u-turned”. Surely it’s a decent quality, to accept that you might need to alter things, having heard concerns etc?

But yeah. I think Labour will be out in four years regardless. The uneducated among us who voted to leave the EU, they’ll be voting for Farage’s latest grift. Like the Christmas turkeys that they are.

    Vote Green.

I think starmers aided farage. The Tory’s are abit of a joke after the last spell. Farage has gained alot of ground due to the other 2 talking the talk on stopping the boats but not delivering added to social media swaying people. But starmers had a mare maybe a u turn on the odd thing but it's everything with him. I agree with you I think he will be gone before the next GE.

Labour are *****. But I’m fine with starmer u turning when he’s dropped a knackered. It’s a quality to work with a degree of integrity for the people who are paying your wages. However, there are pillockers out there who are blowing yours and my tax, who’s money should be going to the genuine people who need it and there are pensioners who could give up the winter fuel allowance to give to other pensioners who can’t. Call it what it is, historically it’s what we do from this area. Stop pandering and start pinpointing.

People see that as being a weak leader, "the lady is not for turning" and all that ballox, and look where that got us...

Spot on. I fail to understand why the Tories and Labour are constantly talking about the policy areas which have the strongest appeal to Reform UK PLC 2025 supporters. Doing this has completely shafted the Tories and will do the same to Labour. They should be talking about the positive things they've done like worker's rights.

    It just makes no sense.

Here's my dream scenario, Labour start to panic and replace Starmer next year with a leader who has the common sense to realise that the only way to keep Farage out at the next GE is to bring in Proportional Representation.

It won't happen though so I'm beginning to resign myself to seeing the day when Farage is summoned to the Palace....

    Who's your challenger, though?

I'll give you Ange as a wild card - not polished, but certainly smart. But she has also said she will never stand for leader!

They should get on their knees and beg Andy Burnham to leave Manchester and give him a safe seat.

Don't think its the uturns as much as the very poor decisions made in the first place that needed to be uturned on. Personally i think the problem with Starmer is that he's a very conservative thinking man thats found himself the leader of the Labour party' his way of thinking is a contradiction to the post he holds' hence the constant u turns.

A ******* disgrace of a man. He's defended the Israeli's without questioning their war crimes in Gaza but now this attack on Bin Vylan. Their comments granted weren't the best but for balance why hadn't Starmer called out the Israeli's killing thousands and thousands of civilians just because they felt like it.
I've had enough of Starmer and this pro Israeli Labour party. Maybe they'll be happy when thousands more civilians are killed in Gaza. Get Starmer out now.

As many on here will know I think Starmer is a lovely guy. Good moral compass, solid socialist principles. Clear vision. Always speaks the truth. Can't fault the guy. He's also helping Farage into power. Respect.

As a non-Starmer fan, she'd be my choice. I suspect - and hope - that she's biding her time.
