Christ almighty its glorious weather n glastonbury on iplayer, its a lazy Sunday afternoon n sad fukkers on this thread are arguing about politics…..some people want to get a life lol….end of rant btw.
Are you pissed? Who’s said it’s ok to kill people or rape women? No idea what you’re on about with the babies. That was disproven a long time ago. After about 3 days Isreal had murdered more than what lost their lives on October 7th. Now they have killed babies, loads of them, burned them to death, blown their bodies into pieces, caused children & babies to have had limbs amputated without anaesthetic.
The IDF seem very knowledgeable about the goings on in Gaza… do you honestly believe they didn’t know about the attack, do you think there might just be a small chance they let it happen?
It will. All things must pass. At some point in the future there will be no Israel. There will be no Arabs. There will be no Britain, America etc. The world will eventually cease to be. It will go to see it's maker. It will be an ex-world... And on a serious note the only way conflicts get resolved is through dialogue. All conflicts end in dialogue, peace treaties, concessions etc etc. Until the Israelis are willing to concede a state to the Palestinians there will be conflict of some kind. Until some other powers accept Israel as a fact there will be conflict. Too many players are invested in conflict though and backing down, talking and negotiating is not acceptable to too many. Israel in particular, in my view, is usually very aggressive in language and action. Its all madness and western powers dont exert enough influence on issues in the region other than to largely bankroll and arm Israel. Its a flawed policy by the west.
Killing innocent folk is wrong, always, and no matter the circumstances. But Palestinians have lived on that land for generations. Claiming land based on ancient history doesn’t justify taking it by force — if it did, most modern countries, like the U.S. on Native land, would be illegitimate. Israel is a modern state, founded less than 80 years ago, and its creation — regardless of its intention — displaced an entire people who are still denied basic rights. I can be anti-Zionist and reject Hamas without being antisemitic or Islamophobic — it’s about justice, not hate. Palestinians deserve their land, their freedom, and dignity. What’s happening in Gaza isn’t defence — it’s ethnic cleansing, and it’s horrifying.
Israel also murdered more people that year prior to October 7th than were killed on that day (and have every single year for decades) but israel want us to believe October 7th was the start and justifies every atrocity they’ve committed since.
It is horrifying. It's also not reported properly so that if one isn't savvy enough one wouldn't get a full perspective of the Palestinian plight. There's never reference back to the nakba, the failed partition plan, the 1967 war etc. Its all put into an ahistorical context and skewed to suggest 'Israel has a right to defend itself'. Its grotesquely inaccurate, lazy and deliberately misleading. However, the Jews do exist in that state too now and, if politicians were more honest and open-minded Jews in Israel could easily be accepted and their position even enforced by law whilst also saying that Palestinians in Israel/Palestine also had full rights to a homeland and recognition. Sadly, this does not happen as the narrative is dominated by Israel and Zionists backed up by western governments. The Palestinians are, basically, a weak underclass with no effective representation or support. The game is loaded in the Israeli government's favour and things are unlikely to change.
No matter want anyone says I stand with Israel and the jews , if they did not stand up to the terrorists of this world ie Iran we maybe face with a nuclear holocaust with nutters that run that country
The true story of what’s unfolding in Gaza is being deliberately concealed beneath a familiar and convenient narrative—one that relies on the age-old “boogeyman” theory. Rather than confronting the complex realities on the ground—displacement, suffering, and systemic violence—the dominant discourse shifts focus with a single, well-worn distraction: “Look, there’s a terrorist!” Ancient tactic that reduces a deeply human crisis to a simplified tale of good versus evil, allowing broader systems of oppression to operate unchecked while silencing dissent and shielding uncomfortable truths from public scrutiny. It’s why you read the odd post in threads like these that talk about nutters with nukes. About scary terrorists. They are only parroting what’s available via the mainstream. Much easier for them to have a boogeyman. Usually the Muslim.
You ought to read up on the history of the region Stephen. Who likes terrorists and nutters? Nothing wrong in standing up for Jews at all after what they've been through in history, but, equally, there's nothing wrong in standing up for Palestinians after what they've been through. There's also the debate to be had about whether the Iranian regime is full of 'nutters'. The 1979 revolution saw a regime change that was very popular. It may be unpopular now because of internal issues/freedoms etc but I suspect Israel and the USA have suddenly made it more popular. Its debatable. However, I do suggest you read up on these sort of issues. Its complex.
This pro Israeli Labour party are a disgrace. Keir Starmer is a disgrace and needs removing from office now.
I agree but I suspect most people don't or most people haven't a clue so just go along with what they're told. I consider myself informed but if I wasn't I'm sure Id just lap up the narrative about Israel, assume Hamas was the only nasty player and therefore conclude that Israel and the U.S. (and Britain) have got the moral high ground and the legitimate policy.
There have been enough Palestinian children murdered by Israel in the last 18 months alone to fill Oakwell. They weren’t terrorists.
May be complex but I no what’s right and wrong the Palestinians voted hamas in who built tunnels with millions of aid given to them and did a cowardly attack on civilians, now if they had done it on military targets then maybe I would take a different approach to this issue. That is were were I stand
The Israeli's are an absolute disgrace, increasing illegal settlements in the West Bank, continued killing of innocent civilians in Gaza and Sir Keir licking Netanyahu's ass hole at every opportunity. It makes me sick. Hope the Israeli's start to get a taste of their own medicine.
