Its an age thing obviously lol, I remember him at his best, in the 80s. However, even then wasnt he accused of being or looking like, a dirty old uncle!!.
Hey I wasn't having a go at him, or you. By the sounds of it anyway, at least they've got the good weather. Remember Glasto when it rained, and it got very very muddy lol. And people still enjoyed it even then, it was like they were at Woodstock.
Ahh yeah, you mean real proper people lol. How much does it cost for fans these days, I'm guessing its not cheap.
Don't really care if she is a Wednesday fan, thought Self Esteem was outstanding. Love how much her music drips with anger and has something to say underneath the high concept, theatricallity of it all. Far cry from her days in Slow Club, who I also thought were great
was at 94, 95 too the prodigy are right now reminding me once again how bored I was watching oasis on the pyramid instead of seeing the prodigy unleash fat of the land on the NME stage in 95! great couple of years though
I'm pleased to see him. Love the bloke. Get your point though. Never heard of this lass, and not really impressed. But not really aimed at me I guess.
Love how they’ve got an autocue of his lyrics on a screen on front of him too for Friday I’m in love. He might be getting on - and the song might be thirty three years old - but after the thousands of times he’s sang it, i’m not so sure that’s needed!!! Him appearing has made this at least vaguely watchable. My fourteen year old girl disagrees mind.
In 2004 I went round the country watching blink-182 on their tour, and at the Wembley gig he came out and they played Boys Don't Cry together. One of the best nights of my life. When your favourite bands get together. He recorded a song on a blink album a year earlier (which they also played), but it was still a surprise at the time. The internet and phones obviously not as it is now. She's not horrific this lass, but after Wet Leg the other day, I'm not sure anyone stood a chance.
