Those saying he’s talented? None of you will have watched him play. Unless you all happen to be secret Hartlepool fans
Never seen him play, but watched the highlights of him, and let me tell you, no defender wants a quick winger running at them, we've been missing this for so long, backwards and sideways passing. Get a man to run at them!
Just posted I watched Halifax v Hartlepool, best player on the park until he was taken off 80 odd minutes in. Head and shoulders above that level
You're right, and I'd love both. What I meant was, I'd prefer Samson of the two. I think a proper 9 is more important because both Jalo and DKD are capable out wide. But we'll see. Might not be in for either. They don't fit the profile of our recent window shopping unfortunately.
Scored 16 goals in 12 appearances in the premier youth league, the same league Oli Mcburnie tore up before coming to us on loan. Also played at youth level with Jono Bland when he was at West Brom and he’s proved to be a good signing. Well thought of by West Brom fans and Hartlepool fans say he looked heads above national league. Sounds like a squad player with abit of promise to add to Yoganathan, Jalo, Bland and Barratt. I’d be happy enough with him.
Seen him three times in the flesh. Against Oldham, Halifax and Gateshead. Scored in two of the games and looked way above that level.
True but also true of many players we've signed in the past. ( Had anyone seen Hignett play) if it does happen it fits the profile of pace..Ferrugia and the new lad at LB, also Cotter and Jalo Clearly ( No pun intended) this lad would fit in a front line as all the others have pace. Shepards not slow but Robbo and Lopata are. also centre mid, Russell and Luka can play but not a high tempo..if we do sign this lad it'll be interesting to see us develop in other areas...
I was there myself! It's my closest stadium. Went a few times last season. I honestly would be very surprised if we sign him.
I think folk need to understand that we aren't the Club who will be bringing in "proven quality" any time soon. We simply cannot afford the associated price tag that comes with proven quality. What we have to do is bring in players that have the potential to become quality. He has all of the attributes to be a good player, I'm sure. If he signs, he'll have my full backing.
Former Hartlepool United loan star set to complete League One switch He's said goodbye to West Brom according to this...
