    I'm always sceptical about anything that links several clubs with the same player.

    I am not convinced that he is the style of striker we need to balance the team. That's unless DKD actually is on the way out of Oakwell, which I sincerely hope not, unless someone is willing to ay £5 million. We need a muscular centre forward type to compliment what we already have and to link up the play. My best tout remains Samson Tovide from Colchester United. O'Mahoney played just a few games on loan at Portsmouth in the Championship and that was partly affected by injury. He could well do the business at League One level very effectively, but it is a different type of player who will balance the side.
