    RIP Alan. Came across as a lovely man and a genuine loyal Reds supporter who followed the team through thick and thin. He'll be sadly missed by the numerous organisations he was connected with.

    Never interacted with him, but followed him on twitter.
    I did wonder if something was amiss, as he was generally very active, and the last week or so, nothing.

    Always sad to see a fellow red going through something like this through no fault of their own.

    So so sad to hear.

    Only ever met him once at Alhambra theatre in Bradford of all places.

    We got talking about Barnsley at the interval as I noticed he had a Barnsley pin badge on.

    Seemed a lovely guy and very passionate about the reds.
