I'm a fan of Oasis but can see them getting some stick when the tour kicks off on Friday, if Liams voice is anything near as bad as when he did the boxing event last year - Suspect this will be a one and done tour as a cash grab, and who can blame them
Sorry but can't say i ever rated em they just seemed to come across like a pair of entitalled prats (just my opinion)
Can’t wait for next Saturday. Sat in my living room with bucket hat and cagoule waiting to make my way to heaton park on the 12th. Joking aside, I cannot believe how quick this year has gone, only seems two minutes ago since the whole ticket farce was going off. Cannot believe it’s actually here.
Not being an expert on what music fits what category. I struggle to put oasis down as a rock band. Or the Beatles for that matter. (Based on criteria of the make up of a rock band. Lots of pop bands fit that same criteria.) I find Coldplay (Although some good songs) a waterered down version of U2. Can anyone say a band was the greatest of a generation. That's a big statement as its based on a preference not fact. It's also daft to claim a band is s41t based on the fact you may not like em. Or their music. Millions may do. But have to admit I struggled with the pogues when I saw em lol.
Loved them as a teenager. Still have a number of their songs on my playlist. In fact, Columbia was the last song I listened to (thousands of songs on shuffle) during my evening walk just an hour ago. But the brothers I just find massively unlikeable, even more so as I’ve grown older. And there’s just a tonne of music I’m into, created and performed by folk I actually do like. So it’s not a tour that interests me. And I don’t really do social media so I’m unlikely to see or hear about it. Got mates who I know are going, and I hope they have a great time. I couldn’t cope without music, and going to gigs with your pals is a treat. Each to their own.
