    Very unlikely outcome.

The Supreme Court have voted 6-3 to curb the powers of judges to block Trumps executive orders.

This is the Supreme Court that Trump skewed with his picks in his last term and threw out Row v Wade. The 6 far right leaning members are repaying the favour.

For anyone who doesn't know, this is what a fascist dictatorship looks like.

To be honest I'm getting to the stage where I'm not bothered anymore. Everywhere one looks its nastiness, cruelty, lack of respect for international law, sucking up to morons, lying and trying to spin it, lack of thought for the poor, weak or oppressed, justifying evil and no attempt to say what's decent or right. I watch the news less and less as it's so depressing.

    Sadly, that’s how fascism wins.

I've been there for years. Haven't watched the news, or current affairs, for 5/6/7 years. Depressing experience. Life is better without knowing. World is truly fooked.

Please tell me what I can do to stop fascism other than voting for a non-fascist party in elections.

Challenge it ever time you see it. By becoming apathetic towards it we are normalising and accepting it and that just gives strength to the facists in society

Imagine if Trump wins a Nobel peace prize. Although winning that is quickly becoming what a knighthood is these days, especially when people like Obama wins it. Imagine dropping 26000 bombs in one year and being known as the president who's been at war longer than any other president, his entire 2 full terms. Not to mention the unbelievable amount of deportations. It should be for people like Narges Mohammodi, truly brave souls at huge personal cost and risks. Not for war hawks such as Trump & Obama. I detest politics the more I learn.

Get better at fighting. The Russians are coming street to street and there will be no protestors in sight to help. As the bellnuts across the pond say “buckle up”

Did you mean to quote another post? If not, I'm struggling to understand your post in relation to mine.

The end of democracy, people being locked up for no reason and escalating conflicts etc?

    We should all be bothered.

But I understand what you mean mate.

Get a decent assault rifle and lie in wait for Fartage somewhere. Only don't go to Clacton or Westminster, you'll die of old age first.

Have people seen the footage of Trumps masked armed "Customs" force? Manhandling woman, beating people, kneeling on heads... In the name of deporting migrants who offered no resistance.

Then the detention centres. Caged, toilets in view of everyone. A temporary prison.

Yet I'm sure our fascist contingent will greet this with open arms and hope their fuhrer gets opportunity to copy it here.

Not that they care about politics, and oh no, they aren't racist ignorant xenophobes... Oh no, heaven forbid.

Starmer’s weakness is creating a vacuum that Farage is all too willing to fill. Hitler came to power because the previous government was weak. Before Brexit I credited the British public with some common sense. I don’t now!

We voted Thatcher in 3 times so I have never really credited the British Public with much sense, common or otherwise.
