Early in the last season he was our best player. And his enthusiasm and character is second to none and should be an example to all. He's an athlete first, footballer second. Like Watters, who's a sprinter first and footballer second. If we were a team full of Cotters I'd turn up every week no matter what, it'd be corking entertainment.
Love big bad Baz. Can’t see where he fits into a back 4 though so.rys hope he smashes it. Wonder if MDG will follow as can’t see any role for someone as slow as him in a back 4. Same for Lopata
Good worker but not good enough so best hes gone, didn’t he nearly leave last year before he got injured, sure it was rumoured
I like baz definitely a tryer but defensively not good enough as a RB, makes sense free's up space to bring in a RB. Good luck Bazza
Shame. I felt he was at least a good substitute capable of offering cover in a number of positions. Really decent lad too. Hope he thrives under Pato with Notts.
When you track the POY from the BBS. He was near the top most of the season. Despite having a lengthy spell out, he was still up there. I genuinely liked the bloke. He at least tried to make things happen. I'm quite disappointed to see him leave, cos he could have offered something, even running at a tired defence as a sub. If we haven't got better lines up, this will be a bit of an own goal IMO
Love mad Barry, always gave his all, but he's no defender. Sadly we have a few even worse defenders than him still at the club.
Nice lad but he's nowhere near good enough for this level of football. If we aspire to be a lower level League One team or relegation candidate then we'd have kept him. Now just MDG and O'Keefe to follow him out the door please.
Jokingly called him Panna, thought after his excellent start to last season and the fact he's quick and willing he would be a great sub in a system playing football at pace... not gifted but never let ya down..good luck Baz.
I have no idea what Hourihane & Sormaz are trying to do. All the talk is of high pressing football but they move on one of the few players with pace who can play that way.
I'd rather both went, fingers crossed we can persuade a club somewhere to take O'Keefe off us even if it's a loan deal.
Cannot fault Barry for his work ethic and comes across as a nice person. I don't think he could play in a back 4. And we are cack as a back 5, disorganised imo. Good luck to him, in his new venture.
