Im thinking something dodgy is going on. What's Barnsley council doing allowing them all? Back handers probably.
Ones in Pontefract never see anyone in them and some are really big shops, probably with high retail costs. theres supposed to be crack down on them. Seen in some towns they have watched them for weeks. Hardly had a customer and then put 1000s through the books.
Im saying could be drugs. Or its them fetching people over in hgvs and dingys. They're probably in the back room of the salon filming on OnlyFans.
What’s up bored again? Lately you’ve started threads that seem to want to stir up political opinions, which is fine but there are plenty of threads out there re these subjects. The Scargill/Thatcher one for example. Is it too quiet for you or is it just a case a lighting the blue touch paper and standing back?.
I think he’s a Deform Councillor who has too much time on his hands, you can only sort out so many flag poles
I think he's seeing how far he can push the boundaries until he's banned. Can we please just give him what he wants @Gally
as the joke goes... My local Turkish barber just got arrested for selling drugs. I'm totally shocked, I've been a customer for 6 years, I never knew he was a barber.
The car wash near me has just opened a Turkish barbers. They couldn’t be more obvious if they tried. I don’t care either way but man put some effort into your money laundering.
Without knowing if the councils are turning down other businesses in favour of Turkish barbers, I’m not sure ‘allowing’ is the correct term. You can’t turn down rental income, and empty shops don’t create a good image for a town.
City got knocked out of the club world cup and his armchair wasn't getting the same use as it usually does.
I have read - although it is unconfirmed - that barber shops are one of the quickest and cheapest ways to get asylum seekers into work as soon as they are granted asylum. There is a steady trade of men wanting to look good, the training is quick and easy and the setup costs and ongoing rental are relatively inexpensive.
