I love tennis and every year, Wimbledon never fails. Superb tournament.
Really feel for Dimitrov tonight. Playing out of his skin, then gets injured. A real joy to watch.
    Come on Carlos!

Especially gutting that it was against Sinner, the dirty doping cheat.

Andreeva looks good for the women's title, which will be awkward having a member of our royal family presenting the trophy to a Russian :D

Adored playing it.... Love watching it.
Have to agree; it's been well enjoyable so far.
Interesting how there's no linesmen/women this year.

Yes, a superb tournament with excellent tv coverage
    Why so many empty seats?
Despite yesterday's glitch the new system using 'electronics' instead of linesmen/women is an improvement.
Not a fan of commentator McEnroe - talks too much !
My money's on Alcaraz and Sabalenka.

Loved playing it don’t mind watching it, but bloody hell for me its coverage is serious overkill by the BBC!

I love Carlos but I hate sport being dominated by the same people.so I hope someone else wins this year. Gutted for Dimitrov having to retire when he was coasting against Sinner. Favourite at the moment is Mussetti, his one handed backhand is a thing of beauty!

Fritz through to the semi finals. He's playing really well this tournament, I wouldn't bet against him!

Great game at present...Sabalenka v Siegemund.
Nice to see more artistry than power for a change. Siegemund serving at 75 mph on occasion.

Nastase, Newcombe, Connors, Cash, possibly McEnroe and Borg would not succeed now. McEnroe was the most gifted player I've watched but I don't think he would have enough against the power of modern players. Just a view.

Not quite sure about that mate….I think Connors/Borg and defo McEnroe would more than survive. McEnroe was pure entertainment also of which I sure you will agree pal

The game was more about artistry then they used to come to the net all the time.If any of them played against today’s players they would get blown away, shame really but they used wooden rackets back then.

Hard to compare in all honesty. There was a different level of fitness forty years ago. The game was slower but with lesser powered rackets...Nevertheless, stamina wise, you still got some cracking games which lasted a good time.
