Connell would absolutely smash it at Wycombe. Really hope he stays.

We played 4231 at Reading on the last day I think. Connell & Bland in holding role, Cotter & Humphrys wide, Russell behind DKD. The two wide players have gone and we’ve brought one in who has played a handful of games in the National League. Now it looks like Connell is likely to be off.
The squad gets weaker with 3 weeks to go.
No new CH with a bit of pace, no specialist RB, probably only one holding MF (if Connell goes), only one fit winger with no league experience and Max xG/Dallas as only options up top after DKD.
    Looking grim.

not sure why he’s been quite below par for 2 years now. Time for new heroes.

Jack Shepherd is a new centre half with a bit of pace.

Disagree but each to their own. Hes had some really poor games but suggesting hes been crap for the whole 2 seasons is just something I dont agree with mate.

    They’re currently around £12m down.

only if they expected to break even on owning a football club and that would be quite silly.

While a lot of things people write on here are speculation, your comment is 100% verifiably untrue.

The big question is how when clubs with smaller gates now out bidding us for players offering more wages. For me club must be paying for far more staff than what's needed either way future dosent look great if board wanting us to go up.leagues n not down.

Not true also mate. Same amount of staff if not less than majority of other clubs.

They are in for a lot more than that. Rights issues alone since February 2023 total £16.2m.

If Rangers can pay £3.5 Million for Aasgaard, Luca has to be worth at least £2 Million in my opinion.
We didn't see the best of him last season, admittedly , but he has to be one of the best players in League One.
I personally hope he stays with us for at least another Season. To

unfortunately our problem is that money has to keep coming out of the owners pockets ….. even after selling players.

Would like to see him stay but needs to perform to the potential he shows but on a consistent basis. If we sell we're not going to replace with anything like his level and so would be weaker. The current list of players that the BBS seem to want to see go and get most mentioned are...
    Watters
    O' Keefe
    MDG
    Nkwali....
But I fear we're stuck with them until their contracts expire..

It's a shame Wycombe are the only team being linked to him. I hoped it becoming common knowledge Wycombe had bid for him would result in other clubs being mentioned and a bidding war.

That's ok then. We have the debt of a championship club while in reality being a mid-table L1 side.
