Ticket details have been confirmed for our Sky Bet League One game with Plymouth Argyle at Home Park Stadium.

Our first match of the season at Home Park Stadium on Saturday, 2nd August, is a 3pm kick-off, and the Reds have been issued an initial allocation of 1,192 tickets. This match is an ALL TICKET fixture, so there will be no sales on the day to Reds’ supporters.

Tickets for this fixture will be delivered digitally to your email address.

Supporters will be allocated 2 loyalty points for purchasing their tickets. If you are purchasing away game tickets for other supporters, you must correctly assign the ticket to each individual for every game, even when tickets are on general sale. This will enable us to offer the correct privileges to supporters on occasions when tickets are on restricted sales in the category system. All tickets will need to be assigned to the supporters who are attending the fixture.

Tickets will be sold in the following order:

    10am Tuesday, 8th July

Tickets are on sale to 2025/26 season ticket holders with 280 or more loyalty points, strictly 1 ticket per supporter.

    10am Thursday, 10th July

Tickets are on sale to 2025/26 season ticket holders with 220 or more loyalty points, strictly 1 ticket per supporter.

    10am, Friday, 11th July

Tickets are on sale to 2025/26 season ticket holders with 150 or more loyalty points, strictly 1 ticket per supporter.

    10am Monday, 14th July

Tickets are on sale to 2025/26 season ticket holders and lottery members, strictly 1 ticket per supporter.

    10am Tuesday, 15th July

Tickets go on sale to supporters who have a previous purchase history with us. If supporters are buying on behalf of other supporters, then we will need their details so that loyalty points can be added to the correct accounts. Tickets will need to be allocated to the individual supporters attending the fixture when purchasing online.

Tickets go OFF sale at the Oakwell Box Office at 12pm on Friday, 1st August. All ticket sales and returns will need to be completed by this time, and there will be no refunds past this date.

The prices for this fixture are:

    Adults - £28.00

    Senior 65+ - £24.00

    Under 23 - £19.00

    Under 18 - £12.00

    Under 14 - £9.00

    Under 8 - £4.00

All juniors under 14 will need to be accompanied by someone aged 18 or above.

Proof of concessions may need to be shown at the time of purchase and also on the turnstiles on the day of the game. Should anyone not be able to provide the proof of concession at the turnstiles, then they will be refused entry with no refund.

Supporters who are in receipt of the higher rate DLA or the enhanced PIP can claim a free PA ticket. This will need to be claimed in person via the box office or over the phone on 01226 211 183. If any supporters have any accessibility questions regarding access to the ground or parking, please contact accessibility@pafc.co.uk, and a member of the team will be able to assist.

Official Club Coach Travel departs at 5.00am, priced at £53.00 per seat. We have a strict no-alcohol policy. Any children under 16 who are travelling with us must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18+.

The easiest and most convenient way to purchase tickets is online at https://www.eticketing.co.uk/barnsleyfc.

Should anyone have any problems with purchasing online, then they can contact the box office via email at boxoffice@barnsleyfc.co.uk.

Tickets go OFF sale at the Oakwell Box Office at 12pm on Friday, 1st August. All ticket sales and returns will need to be completed by this time, and there will be no refunds past this date.

    28 quid for 3rd division.
It's no wonder the game is on its knees.

Are we likely to sell out? If so that's a great effort.

I didn’t think we'd be taking 1000+ to Plymouth so I was surprised by the categories for purchasing tickets, but fair play if we do.

The obvious answer is just don’t pay these prices although I understand the motivation of those who love going away for every fixture, season after season. Plymouth is a lovely city to visit and an overnight stay would add to the attraction, especially if we bagged the three points as well.

I’ll not be going but I’m sure plenty will. Good luck to them. I still remember that 3-1 win during the long unbeaten run that led to promotion to the Second Division, all those years ago. Ronnie Glavin et al! I was southern based then so got to the likes of Exeter, Portsmouth, Colchester that season

Based on 2022, I would imagine 1,000+, yeah. Opening day, summer, decent place to visit etc. Good away trip.

I hope they get to see a better game than they did three years ago!

A quick look at flights suggests otherwise. Realistically, the only option is Manchester to Newquay and by the time you’ve messed around getting to Manchester and then from Newquay to Plymouth it’s just not worth the hassle.

People wanting to pay 1990s prices but with 2020s costs & wages. I get the psychological blocker of it but if £20 was reasonable 10 years ago, £28 quid is today. Cost of 5 pints.

Jesus I've just googled it ,problem is you lost touch of match day prices ,when buying season tickets.
20 quid was about right in 2015 ,and we were in league 1 too.
    Fair comment.
