I'd like to see him have a decent run of games in an organised team to see how good he can be. I think that the criticism he gets for last season when he was at best a bit part player in an already flimsy midfield is a bit harsh.
Isn’t it a bit unfair on the rest to ask them to make up for his inadequacies? In my view he would be a “luxury” we can’t afford to carry.
You could be right mate but personally I think he's got something that Conor can work with and we can't keep signing players to then write them off before they've had a fair crack at it.
If he is, then he has not been on any of the clubs videos. There I suspect not, which does not bode well for his future at the club.
If Conor is beasting them in order to build superhumans to play this high pressing fast football, there will be some who may not be that eager to follow the new regime. Humphreys has gone and Nwakali, whilst he may pick a sublime pass once or twice, may be another not up for the graft.
He posted a picture on Instagram at the weekend that looked like he was in an airport. So I assumed he'd be back this week. But then he posted another yesterday that, although it could have been an old photo, clearly wasn't in this country. The wedding he was supposedly attending was in mid June, again, judging by his Instagram posts. I reckon he's not coming back.
I'm on it ..... and can I also add that I'm really really excited to see how Conor can mould Mladen into one of the top sporting directors in the country
I dare say that the majority of the players can leave, it's just a case of if or when it happens and are we gonna be fully prepared for the Plymouth game in a few weeks time.
I remember 5 months back when if you questioned either Nwakali or De Gevigney you were made to feel like you knew nothing about football. Now it’s kind of just accepted that both are either not good enough or surplus to requirements & I’m not really sure what’s changed
It's only 5/6 months ago that people were saying DKD wasn't good enough. Football fans are very fickle.
