Signed for Turkish second division team Pendikspor. Jonson Clarke-Harris has also signed for them.

I remember being excited when we signed Wilks - it seemed like a statement signing at the time. But what a disappointment he was at Oakwell and since then at every other club he's been at. Other than his loan at Donny, he doesn't seem to have performed anywhere. He's only 26 but it already feels unlikely that he'll achieve his potential.

And yet, I suspect he's already rich from the wages he's been paid which in itself is a statement about the silly money in modern day football.

 

I think Blackpool fans were expecting him to sign a new deal there. Maybe [redacted] will rock up there as his replacement now.

He's an absolute bellend

 

Why? Never got the stick aimed at malik Wilkes. Played for us told the head coach striker he should be starting. Left got stick everytime we played against him.

 

Let's be honest now,he was never a team player.
He was all for himself.
Was happy with the signing initially, but found him very underwhelming.
But yes he's probably not a bell end

 

Not sure what passes for a "bell end" these days, but the fact he was on trial for actual bodily harm doesn't exactly speak well of his character link

 

Couldn't escape his upbringing, lets just say that.

 

FFS I take that back.

To be fair one of my favourite ever barnsley players was charged with assault on a paramedic.

 

I have actually had a long conversation with him about this.
And he brought it up not me.

 

There was his side of the story also ,and why he needed to tell me .
Well I was gobsmacked.
He is a lovely family man if you met him.
Honest and genuine.
We all have skeletons in our wardrobes.

But that's what I was saying you said that makes him a contender for a bellend. He was 19 we all got charged with assault at a carnival. We all make mistakes in life at some point and do things we might regret. Doesn't define you wether you hammil or Wilkes. I don't know him to say if I think he's a bellend. I do know his time here he kicked off abit at been on the bench when the team were bottom of the league and he wasn't getting a chance that was the rumours. He then went to hull.

 

Had a great game on his debut, not much after that.
