    You say that like it’s something to be hugely ashamed of?

    He’s played 26 innings against him and in that time few (none) of the other Indian bowlers are anything like as good as Bumrah. So the best bowler is the one to get him out more often than not. The ball that dismissed him was on a perfect length and nipped back at him beautifully - he was got out by good bowling, he didn’t play a stupid shot as others have (the Stokes ball before it was an absolute stunner, no blame on Stokes there whatsoever either).

    I think they broadly did ok yesterday and that today the best bowler in the word has shown us why he has that title.

    The pitch is quicker today, which helps the bowlers - but also makes it easier to score on now it has dried out a bit, the ball is coming on to the bat a bit better - though so we need to edge as close to, preferably beyond if possible, 350 to be in the game.

    It will be nice to bat on today; the new ball nip has gone now (especially as they changed it for one that looked older!), so hopefully Carse is good enough to hang around and Smith can get a few

    The modern game is so annoying. Sides trying to change the ball 3 or 4 times an innings. Changed this one after 63 deliveries. Pathetic . Moaning at umpire if he doesnt change it. Get on with it ffs

    Got bit on the arse today though. Changed a swinging and seaming ball ten overs old and had it swapped for one that’s doing nothing.
