Wales qualified for their first ever major tournament in dramatic fashion, as they defeated Ireland 2-1 (3 Dec 2024) in Dublin to reach Euro 2025.

Fit and healthy James should be in the conversation of best in the world, trouble is like her brother she gets injured frequently.

See I don't get the fuss over her, I think England have got better players.
To me she seems slow and only does it against lesser opponents who give her space to play, if I was an opponent I'd just stick a mobile marker on her and i think she'd struggle

I’d agree she has quiet games but when she wants it she is unplayable. Certainly not slow and is also capable of playing in most positions on the pitch too, just needs the consistency to back it up.
In terms of better players I’d say Toone & Walsh are two that are much more consistent, in fact other teams say stop Walsh and you stop England(see France game), I’d also say for me Williamson is also incredibly consistent but I wouldn’t say any of them are good enough to be in the conversation.
James isn’t there yet either but I think she could be.
    Opinions.
