    Gone from dropping crosses against Charlton and being called a bell end on here, to collecting a (Club) World Cup Winners medal in a matter of months. Albeit as Chelsea’s 4th choice keeper for the tournament.

    It's a funny old game.

    He’s still a bell end for dropping crosses so no change just cos he has a nice shiny gold medal around his neck.

    Compare this with Jimmy Greaves not being given a world cup winners medal in 1966 despite playing all the group games but missing the final through injury. Young 'uns today,they dunt know they're born a tell thi.

    Everyone in the squad got one I believe, and given Donald Trump was heavily involved in the awarding ceremony, I'd be surprised if he hasn't got one too.

    Not even worth mentioning Archie, he didn't play a minute.
    You never know if he sticks around at Chelsea long enough he might break Scott Carson's Man City record, 2 games and 11 trophies in 6 years.

    Keepers normally make a couple of mistakes a season, I think he made 3 bad ones in 10 games, never seen a 6ft 4 keeper as poor on crosses in 45 years.

    Yes, really. I saw world class real madrid defenders making 3 costly errors last week all in the same game mate. It happens. Slonina will have a very decent career.

    Trump actually does have one. Madueke wasn't there as he's moving to Arsenal. There was a medal going spare so the orange man took it!

    You must watch a very different game for starters if you think Garcia, Valverde and Asencio are world class defenders, making mistakes v PSG isn't comparable to Northampton and Charlton etc.
    At 6ft 4 he should have a big advantage on crosses, I'd happily bet his career won't see him dining at the top table.

    Slonina’s largest issue wasn’t just technique. It was often a lack of bravery combined with poor decision making.

    That’s not a good combination for a goalkeeper.

    He was a decent shot stopper, though had a really bad habit of palming shots into dangerous areas.

    We had a lot of keepers last year. I’d put Slonina last if I were to rank them.
