It's known as taking one for the team.

He should not have been invited in the first place.

I think it will be interesting to see how the British public respond to the visit.
Trump probably thinks he's going to be celebrated in horse and carriage processions up and down the Mall but if the general public didn't turn out to watch then imagine the embarrassment.
No doubt some idiot group will protest and cause trouble.

I wonder why nobody had the balls to just say no, you can't address parliament.

Just like they didn't turn out for his birthday parade. He didn't like that.

No doubt the BBC will be fawning all over it; giving it wall to wall coverage on all channels.
    Just ignore the orange turd.

I see that Trump initially refused to leave the stage last night during the Club World Cup trophy presentation. So he's on some of the Chelsea team photos.

probably its because he's fking unhinged!
Its called diplomacy, it looks like me that Charles ( as Sad Brewer said) took one for the team in this case the country and played to Trumps vanity to avoid the chance of mega tariffs.
Although a (very small) part of me would have liked to have heard him address Parliament because he would have probably waffled on in unintelligible garbage and made an even bigger fool of himself if that's even possible!

I suspect the guidance of date was from the government. The royal family pretty much go with the flow given the vast amounts of tax payers money they claw in, and now with the additional billions from renting the sea bed!

I don't know if anyone saw it the other week about a new bridge in St James' Park. The existing bridge is perfectly fine and doesn't need replacing. But to commemorate a dead monarch who clung on to the end, the tax payer is funding £50m ish for a new bridge to be made out of "glass". Given the King is allegedly pro environment, you'd think he might say something about the construction of this bridge for someone who is dead and already has a tube line and a bell tower named after her, given how incredibly damaging the construction method will be and how pointless it is to replace something that works absolutely fine already.

I might have a bit more respect for him and the rest of them if they actually lived the values they profess to have.

Think with Charlie fcking camila behind Diana's Bach he was never going to be king his mam said or it was a debate from papers don't know why he just didn't pass it to William but camila seems sound.been a tough life for kids and Harry is even getting manipulated by his twisted bird no-one can deny that can't believe he's making public no things about his private life.we all have had problems with parts of our family but we don't take it to papers oe netflicks.i recon he's left royals so she can't get into establishment what would that be worth if she'd got in right with family.fck royals anyway, mcoldrick and dad should be a great partnership course am drunk and nattering on soz everyone.

He also claimed the original trophy which is in the oval office. The one used at the ceremony was an alternative one made.

Also i understand Fifa opened a new office in NY. In Trump tower.

I fully expected Trumps mask to be ripped off to reveal John Terry.

After ditching Dianna in favour of Camilla, I expect Charles's mask to be ripped off to reveal Co-Co the clown!
