How lacklustre do all these supposed signings sound - just another ringing endorsement of how poorly we have been run to show that there are now the best players we can attract.
We did have Bobby Thomas Mads and Liam Kitching at the back tho .. which may have something to do with it
Not sure of the precise details, but it's a knee injury, I think. His first major problem was to do with his shoulder, but the operation on that should have sorted it out, with a bit of luck.
I wouldn’t say struggling to make an impact, he probably needs to fine tune part of his game but what 19 year old with less than 50 professional men’s appearance doesn’t? For me he makes a great impact, he’s direct with his forward thinking runs, dribbling, willingness to try and beat a man and that’s something we haven’t had for a good few years. He needs to stay fit and if he does I’m sure he’ll show his quality.
There’s taking a knock and then there’s being injured to the point you need surgery, two big differences there. First surgery was on his shoulder after coming back from the initial injury and hurting it again and now on his knee. They aren’t knocks, come on be fair to the lad.
Didn’t an opponent fall onto him which knackered his shoulder, and same again, when he did his knee? Sure someone fell on him in an awkward position. I remember worrying he’d done his ACL at the time.
Keen on a permanent deal for Haji Mnoga right back from Salford apparently. Would make sense if O'Keefe is on way out
The same account that said we were signing Steer, Bradley, Mayo and Koroma. Must be Luca's burner account.
I find it quite entertaining personally. Once you get the hang of what he's banging on about, it's easy to follow, my rizzler.
