    That was my first instinct too. Barring injuries or further departures, or, a decent signing or two... Thats your opening day first XI (except Ogbeta).

    Earl, Connell and Jalo trained at Oakwell instead. All recovering from different injuries. So you add those to the squad, and it looks a little better.

    Still can’t get my head around Maël at right back. And needs at least another handful of additions. For me anyway.

    Really! That’s an awful squad and although the first eleven looks okay on paper we’ve got zero back up at the minute. Massive amount of work still to be done and if we’re not careful we’re going to be left playing catch up by not being ready.

    I take it Lopata and Dallas are hopefully being moved on. Both fit i assume but can't get on the bench for a friendly vs Harrogate.

    I pray to god we manage to somehow offload MDG. One of the worst defenders in recent years to pull on a BFC shirt! I still have nightmares about his Play off performance in both legs against Bolton. Absolutely woeful!
