I’m with you on “wand of a left foot” Kennedy. Add Paul Gibbs and you’ve got the worst pairing ever.

Beresford, really? I thought he was great and it’s a shame we let go of him so quickly.

We’d have got more out of Judi Dench.

Krizan and Cole Kpekawa are way ahead of the Belgians. We spent over a million on these two.

Saw him play against the missus’ lad a couple of years ago. He hadn’t got any better. Think it was Maidenhead.

Also saw George Waring the same season, for Curzon Ashton. I always liked him and surprised he never kicked on. That might be a better thread.

    Bit of a tangent.

Frimpong and Mido for me. Absolutely shocking signings, although the French lad from last season could run them close, and I don’t mean MdG

Peter Sand. We thought we’d signed Ebbe, the Bundesliga top scorer. Oh the disappointment. Then there was Phil Gridlet or ‘God’ because everyone knew he was there but nobody saw him.

I think value wise has to be Hristov. Signed for 1.5 million in 1997 which would be a touch under 4 million now. Scored 8 league goals.

we have had worst players but I would say he is the worst transfer.

Agree. I’d argue Watters isn’t even the worst striker signing of his spell with us. I think Cosgrove’s worse.

Kevin Donovan has to be up there, we were still paying him for about 3 years after he left. Most if not all other major candidates already mentioned more than once.

Oulare and Iseka have to be up there, Frimpong and Mido too. Basically 'names' who had absolutely no intention of bothering.

According to transfermarkt we spent over 500k on cole kpekawa I was shocked to be honest. The same site also says we paid over 1millon for Patrick schmidt so based on that schmidts up there with the worst.

Cole Kpekawa had a proper attitude problem by all accounts. Probably not in the same league as Nile Ranger mind.
