A good run out and performance this afternoon. Two absolutely shocking challenges should have resulted in red cards for their players. Conor not happy and I’m not surprised - the one where Ferugia was pushed in to the fence was straight in front of us and was a disgrace. Ref was sh.t and did absolutely nothing

Plenty going spare at Oakwell if they fancy coming to watch a real team....when do we play Huddersfield at home? :D

The Farrugia one was right in front of us and should have been a Red. It would have been 5+game in Ice hockey never mind Football.
The ref seemed to think, because it was a friendly he didn’t need to book anyone. After that decision it seemed to be a signal for Harrogate to start kicking our lads up and down.

Yes, I commented on this in my MTD postings. I was across the pitch from our following though so too far away to see what happened. I just saw Neil making his way towards the bye line and then suddenly he was flying into the fence/hoardings below you all. It was obvious from the reaction of fans and players that it was a bad one and I thought surely he's going to get a red card out. He was pathetic and, as you just mentioned, this gave them licence to kick our lads up in the air from then on. Not what I expected from Harrogate at all and I'll be interested to read what Simon Weaver has to say about it. No doubt though he will just gloss over it and say his lads had a good workout from strong L1 opposition.

You must have been really close to us as it was right in front of us too, we were on the front barrier!

Thanks for that but we’re not all in agreement about what happened. Maybe a few more who were closer to the incident than me could give their view on it? Maybe it was an accident but their left back certainly got plenty of abuse from behind that goal. Farrugia was clearly hurt, however it happened

It was 3 yards away from me and definitely not an accident

I vaguely recall there being a few fiesty challenges the last time we played Harrogate in pre-season.

I'm guessing if Conors still here next season. Harrogate will be told to fook right off, if they request another friendly.

Agreed, I was about 5 yards further towards the corner flag, absolutely no need for that type of challenge in a friendly

2nd one was definitely a red card
