He was one of the main sparks of starting the company! He’s dropped off it a bit recently due to age and whatnot but the product is truly fantastic and I will shout about it to the end of the world.
I loved it as a kid & kind of grew out of it when I was probably about 13 or 14 years old. Whenever I’ve flicked through the channels over the years I’ve always had similar thoughts to what you’ve just posted. I think I’d be more embarrassed if the Mrs caught me watching wrestling than porn these days!
This is the only funny thing Tna ever did lol, and its the most embarrassing time of Ric Flair's career. He looks like he's about 150 years old, and he's about to explode.
Kurt doesn't get anywhere near the plaudits he deserves. His early stuff where he disputes all of his losses is some of the best heel work ever.
Cena is a good shout as both him and Hogan should be on the Mount Rushmore of any WWE fan. The Rock didn't have many years at the top before movies. Stone Cold didn't have many years at the top before injury. Kurt Angle left the the competition. As did Jericho. The 3rd name would probably have to be The Undertaker and then maybe HBK if you're picking 4 based off years in the top tier in WWE making good money.
A blast from the past. Loved WWF for a bit as a kid. Just been looking back through some clips on YouTube. What a truly ridiculous form of entertainment! Rest in Peace, a true icon of his time.
He won Olympic Gold with a broken neck. He was legit. I know Joe Rogan is marmite, but the episode he did with Angle was very good. The amount of drugs in that industry, the painkillers especially, frightening.
There are stories of back stage politics and backstabbings outside of the ring, and apparently Hogan was one of the worst for it. A lot of this might be rumours or even just 'a work' (part of storylines), but I find it easy to believe. Like the idea of him being asked to, but refusing to put Brett Hart over, at Mania '93.
