    It's staggering how a win is dismissed as nothing more than a run around, yet a defeat or even a draw sets people off like rabid dogs

    Pre season is obviously all geared up towards the first team and to prepare them for the season ahead but there has been absolutely nothing for the fans to get excited about or look forward to.

    The season ending was a damp squib, this has rolled on into pre season. It looks like this will spill over into the new season. Dire, dismal, drab etc.

    You might be right but it could go either way after our annual reset. The negativity needs more time to gain momentum for me.

    Given it was our last friendly. I'd have thought we'd have played our strongest available side. Put into practice to play Plymouth. Injuries aside.

    I'm certainly excited. We need more, but at this point, I had expected we'd lose a couple of players, mainly DKD & Phillips, possibly Connell. Hopefully we bring some more in before the season starts.

    Yeah last game before season starts, behind closed doors.. going to be the dress rehearsal for Plymouth. Both starting 11 and formation.
    Even if any new players come in next week, this late in the day they're going to be on the beach now anyway.
