I can almost guarantee they're not. They've been 'linked' with pretty much every player in the world in the last 2 years.
Their owners don’t actually put that much money into the club. They’ve just used their fame to open up revenue streams that other clubs wouldn’t be able to. But in terms of money moving from owner to club i’d bet our owners have put more in over the last 2 years.
Billionaires ?. Who would that be among our Directors. Chien Lee is a small minority shareholder but has never shown significant interest in the club. Other than relying on his ex mate conman. (Locked up in Belgium I believe) To do his business. Billionaire yes. But may as well be syds sweets. (No disrespect to syds sweets) Parekh ? Can you show me concrete evidence cos its anyone's guess. Same with JAQ. And certainly not Cryne. Wrexhams owners can draw on their fame to bring money to the club. Certainly not fund their latest enterprises on their own. The popularity of the "Welcome to Wrexham" documentary series has significantly boosted the club's revenue, securing high-profile sponsorship deals with international brands. This increased income has reduced the reliance on direct shareholder funding.
I guess my point really was despite us getting so called “billionaires” we managed to find ones with no actual money/connections or any nous to actually make anything better when in fact all they have done is caused more damage than good. The polar opposite of what Wrexham found.
No more than our last one, no. Why does it have to be that if someone doesn’t moan about everything, that they’re ’enjoying it’?
Thing is about ‘enjoyment’ is it’s not guaranteed, but can be found in unexpected places. I’ve enjoyed loads of away wins in recent seasons. Didn’t enjoy struggling in the Championship overall, but certainly enjoyed the last gasp survivals. Enjoyed watching individuals, not so much others. All regardless of who owns us.
im not even sure what you are trying to turn this question into now to be honest. my only input was to say we got terrible new owners and Wrexham didn’t.
You’re the one moving the goalposts. You said these owners are causing ‘more damage than good’ I asked you to elaborate, and you haven’t. You just suggested I might be enjoying being in league one.
Bang on. I feel for our home support. (Of which I'm one as well ) But the frustration has been tempered by me watching em away regularly. Probably up there with the best periods. At least results wise.
