Available for transfer from Charlton Athletic and linked with a move to Bolton Wanderers. Centre forward who had just one good spell when with Cambridge United, but scored against us and made a big impact, such that he got a big money move to Charlton. We cannot compete with the transfer fee Charlton will want, as they reportedly paid £1 million for him, but they do need to offload, having signed Kelman and Oloafe, so might be worth a cheeky bid. Any better possibilities?

Forgot to say that Bolton have just signed Burstow from Hull, so that should be their big striker signing.

Without first selling, getting money in, we ain't going to be spending nothing.. Looking like a make do and mend season... A couple of injuries and it's square peg in round hole time..

The season before last, he came on and changed the game at Oakwell vs Cambridge. He was fantastic, exactly what we need.

I've read some of the comments from Charlton fans though who have been less than complimentary about his work rate this last season.

All our bids are cheeky. That's why they always get rejected out of hand and have done for years.

It's only a sheer miracle that someone didn't pip us to DKD last year while we haggled over 150K or whatever it was.

Don't get me wrong £150K is a galactic amount of money in the real world, but we're talking professional football in 2025.

We just come across as hesitant, cheap and unserious in my opinion.

Spot on. What's happened with the wing wizard from Cheltenham?

And do you think those bidding for ours aren't cheeky. We only got DKD via that method just b4 the window closed. Get ready for some of the same in and out. As with all clubs playing the game. It's a risk granted. But one, most are prepared to do.
Hence why it's the biggest day for signings in the window. Lots of loan players as well, waiting to see who wants em.

Would probably fit the bill for what we need but no way would we be able to afford to buy him. He’s one year into a four year contract. Would have to be a loan.
