Wonder what happened to the Salford RB, Haji Mnoga rumour, all went quiet and he's still there.

 

No.

 

Us, Northampton and Bradford over the summer have all been quoted a price that none of us are willing to meet just yet. Depends if he kicks up a fuss as he was one of their best players last year and will fancy a crack in League 1.

Alongside that, Northampton have moved on I believe and one of Bradford best players last season was their right full back so they won’t be getting ripped off.

 

Had a wee swatch over on the Wycombe forum to see if there was anymore noise about Luca. It's all quiet on that front but there is a reference we're one of the clubs interested in Connor Taylor (Centre-back from Bristol Rovers).

 

After how we treated Darrell Clarke, I don't see him wanting to sell a player to us.

 

I don't think it'll be his decision to make.

He's handed a transfer request and wasn't included at the weekend so there's a possibility (maybe).

 

I don't think he was mistreated.The players wasn't fit enough and at times lacked motivation.No one likes to see a coach get the sack but In my opinion sacking Clarke was justified.

 

True the players seemed to lack fitness and motivation under Clarke.
Where as they already appear much more up for it under Houriane.

 

The only mistreatment was not firing him straight after Old Trafford.

 

According to Pete O’Rourke, he’s currently undergoing a medical at Wycombe. I’m not sure if we were ever in for him, but he certainly fits the profile we’ve been looking for in a central defender — tall, quick, and with a decent amount of experience for a young player. A fee of around £500K is being mentioned.

 

£500k is why we’ll have been nowhere near him. Not be easy finding players we need.

 

Think we'll have to pay at least that to get Hamer from Lincoln - they're not exactly desperate for the cash after their recent outgoings.

 

Another one we can forget then. Can’t disagree with you. Only way we’re finding that sort of money is via a sale.

 

I'm pretty sure some money will be available even if there are no sales, though it's likely to be a modest amount.

I'd still expect Russell to go before the end of the window, probably for a couple of million tops - which is not really enough to invest anything back in the squad.

 

Much as I like Russell he’s the one I’d want to sell as his contract is up next summer.
Think £2m is optimistic though, would do very well to get even £1.5m.

 

I thought he had a good season just gone but can’t I see us getting £2 million mate, only my opinion
