    Fella I speak to reckons Connell will go once we have a replacement lined up. It looked as though he was gonna go earlier as we had someone very close to joining but ended up joining another League 1 club instead. We are waiting for another deal to be accepted from that said League 1 club for a player that they’ve made available in midfield due to that incoming, a substantial fee by our end.

    He’s normally bang on.

    That’s eleven new signings for Huddersfield with nine of them from a Champ or Premiership club , surely based on money spent they should be big favourites to go up automatically.

    I would love it to be Bosun Laval from Stoke City. Absolute beast in the holding midfield role. Even better if we were to end up with Bosun and Samson in our team. Watch it be Kasumu.

    Wycombe just announced loan signing of George Abbott.

    Another holding mid, with him and the others bought recently. I'd be very surprised to see them still actively looking at Connell

    I also think with Connell being named captain again for this season, it's very unlikely he'll be off now.

    Abbott is one I mentioned at the start of the summer as a potential Connell replacement if he went. Had a good season at Notts County last season.
