That pass what resulted in a corner was almost world class.

Was it a corner for us or them?

Good result in the end, but a lot of work to be done defensively.

    Wow.

Talk about a game of two halves.

A superb second-half comeback from the Reds. From the restart, the intensity that was missing in the first half was immediately there, and we barely gave them a sniff after the interval. A well-worked goal from Vickers and a sharp follow-up from DKD brought us level. We did drift for a spell after that, but the introductions of Cleary and Kelly gave us fresh impetus, and in the end McGodrick — didzy business and sealed it.

Well done to Conor and the boys for turning it around; the resilience was impressive. A couple of great assists from Phillips, who for me just about edges Man of the Match.

Credit to Burton for their first-half performance — they didn’t just park the bus, they tried to play football and could easily have taken something from the game. Ultimately though, our quality showed.

Still plenty to work on, but you can’t complain about maximum points so far. From small acorns...

Well what a 2nd half that was. The wind took out burtons only real form of attack and despite the ref awarding them free kicks for basically falling over when someone was in breathing distance they offered next to sod all. Well done reds fully deserved not often you are going to turn a 2-0 down into a win so massive well done from me.

Now that was a terrific game for the neutral. Burton far better than us in the first half, we were much the better in the second. Work still to do, but no one can complain about the entertainment and two victories,
Phillips was again my MOTM, but I was really impressed with Cleary & Kelly.

Far better 2nd half, awful first.

We are still going to concede goals but we do look lively going forwards.

It should be noted how the defensive frailties mattered less once the whole team was on it rather than missing their passes and fumbling their control.

Incredible the difference when your centre backs and central midfielders stop passing between each other.

Yes we were, but it just proves the back up center halves just aren't good enough. Better teams won't let us back into the game if we give them a 2 goal start. We need at least one center half in before the window shuts.

Thing what annoys me about Earl and Mdg is the amount of soft free kicks they give away, either by shoving the striker so obviously or just been sloppy in play in general.

I’ve seen you defend MDG quite a bit on here and does take a lot of stick, possibly more than he deserves, but I’m not sure how anyone can say he played very well today. Him and Earl are both as bad as each other for dallying on the ball and having brain fart moments.

I couldn't understand the system 1st half. 2 at the back. Full Backs further up. They ran us ragged. And are a very decent side. They will cause a lot of teams a lot of problems. Their 2nd goal was unforgivable. Goal side of the defender in his own half.
Our press the second half paid dividends. And as someone else said. Both teams were still going for the win at 2-2. Just glad it was us that got it.
Great ovation at the end, the players and the crowd deserved that.

I said at the start of the season we will be a certainty for BTTS this season and after 2 games it’s definitely looking that way.

First half we were pretty awful. Way, way too slow on the ball and defensively looking like we would make a mistake at any point.

Second half I thought we played much quicker on the ball and deserved the comeback.

Like last week, I don’t really want to mention the ref because we’ve won but where do they actually get them from? He was so inconsistent through and clearly doesn’t know what “advantage” is.

Atmosphere was great at the end. Let’s hope we can get a good crowd for the Bolton game too. Really get Oakwell rocking.
