May well be partly a financial decision. Plus his injury record isn't great. If the club and CH feel they can get better value elsewhere, then I have no reason to doubt their judgement.
Without naming names or anything. What's supposed to be so bad about his attitude? Dont have to go into too many details, but is it cos he was always turning up later? Being horrible to club staff? Slagging off our wonderful west stand?
Although Watters is technically an out and out striker I feel like Cleary would offer more up front on his own than Max would, so technically that’s 3 we have ahead of him
I think you're wrong there, re Conor. According to Wiki, he played just 31 games for Villa in the PL, and 101 in the Championship.
Not possible. He joined them in January and then they went up the season after. So he couldn't have realistically played many more than 60 for them in the Championship.
That doesn't add up if we're talking about Championship games just for Villa. It's a 49 game season including playoff games, and during his time with Villa, they were in the Championship for one full season and another 1/3 the season before.
They weren’t. As I’ve said, they were promoted in May 2019. They beat Derby in the playoff final. They lost to Fulham at Wembley the year before.
In League One for us (excluding any play-off games) Phillips has made a goal contribution every 166 minutes. Hourihane finished up with one every 166 minutes.
It’s alright. I still can’t believe it was over 10 years since he joined us under Danny Wilson. Life moves fast.
