I don’t think you need to wonder too long.

His first tenure had plenty of rumours after multiple tells. I think vascular dementia was the most common conclusion.

There was a time when Farage appeared to be distancing himself from Trump. He’d been invited to speak a rally and was questioned by the British press, at which point he was playing down his relationship - possibly after the Capitol riots. Slowly fell back into line though, just like many of them have.

Maybe he’s on the Trumpstein list? :D

What is surprising is that she’s still breathing.

She's safe until she fulfils her end of the bargain and says what Trump wants about who is/isn't in the Epstein files. After that she'll be dead within a year.

She's either going along with whatever deal Trump has put to her or she's been moved because the new prison camp in Texas is a "lower security" institution so might be easier to bump her off there.

See he's practically declared martial law in DC today to stop the Epstein protests

What’s it got to do with Epstein, there was over 25,000 assaults in Washington DC in 2024 and a 1000 rapes ,it’s ok ,you can say it’s only a stat, but not if your the one raped or assaulted

    Fair point

But since the crime rate has been that high and problematic for a long time in DC, why did he suddenly declare a national emergency today? You're saying it was just coincidence that there was huge protests going on there for the Epstein files to be released?

Or was there a specific crime or incident that caused him to suddenly decide it was a national emergency?

Why was it not an emergency last week? Or as soon as he came to power?

Lowest crime in DC in 30 years. But even so, there many places with far far worse crime records, so why not there? I think the clue is in the location....

Deeply worrying events. Controlling the supreme court and both houses is bad enough, but seizing control of local police putting it under federal control is in the realm of the F word many people seem to want to ignore.

Re Russia, the man is so far out of his depth and can't remotely understand Putins wants or the lengths he'll go to.

Trump sees Putin seizing mostly sea facing land as seizing prime real estate. Not through the prism of war, cutting off territory, controlling sea and shipping and getting resource into areas it controls while cutting off Ukraine from supply lines for the next attack in a few years time after it secures it's illegally occupied land.

I don’t know how reliable this is, but it points to a downturn in crime.

You would have thought that he'd have started with the states who have the highest rape figures then wouldn't you such as Alaska who overwhelmingly has more rapes per capita than any other state or Texas which has the most rapes overall by a significant margin. Unfortunately both those states voted him into office and Washington DC voted against him.

This is nothing to do with rape crimes at all. If it was he'd start with the worst

I'm not sure what that has to do with Trump though?
