Does anyone feel a little bit sorry for Sheffield Wednesday in their current predicament ?

Deep Thought. 42 points. That'll do.

That would mean they'd end up with minus googolplex points, enough to force them to the bottom of whichever division they are playing in until the universe disintegrates.

That would be a fitting punishment. A team gets x points deducted but the rest of the league can vote at the end of the season when they get applied. So if they are in the play-offs or just escape relegation, apply them. If they are mid-table, wait until next season...

I see Bazza B is suspended for their cup game tomorrow, which he would have probably sat out regardless.

Just deduct em enough points at the end of each of the next five seasons that no matter how many points they gained in that season they'll finish bottom and be relegated. Sounds fair enough to me that oh and insert a clause that if they appeal or commit further offences the punishment is doubled to ten years that makes it even fairer.

Red card suspensions are served over all fa competitions, only yellow card totting up suspensions are competition specific.
Dunno what the logic of that is, but thems the rules.

I guess the default was they carry across competitions but then someone realised that players would be able to deliberately get their 5th yellow card in a league game directly before a cup round in order to wipe the slate clean without any penalty in the league.

Where were the protests when they knew they were paying a 6 man, aging strikeforce of Rhodes, Winnall, Forestieri, Joao, Fletcher and Nuhiu £40/50k a week in one season, with no saleable assets or potential windfalls incoming?

    F*** em.

I hope they go under. They're an absolute vile bunch. No acceptance of historical overspending, instead just calling the current owner (who it appears has run out of money) every name under the sun. Where were these MPs, supporters trust and the like when they were spending obscene sums on Bannan, Forestieri, Hooper, Rhodes, Reach etc. They were ******* lapping it up and now the **** has hit the fan they come crawling out of the woodwork. Please Chansiri keep this going for a while longer yet. :D:D.

The most alarming thing in all this is these morons expecting someone to take over and get straight back to the spending levels Chansiri was previously funding. Completely deluded and out of touch with reality.

    Jordan Rhodes £10 million
    Lucas Joao £5 million
    Adam Reach £5 million
    Fernando Forestieri £3 million
    Gary Hooper £3 million
    Almen Abdi £ 3 million
    Daniel Pudil £3 million
    David Jones £2 million
    Joost Van Aken £3 million
    Ike Ugbo £2.5 million

but again some sections of the media won't discuss those fees and wages will they?

They are wanting an out pouring of sympathy. For what? Years of over spending money and now the piggy bank is empty and there is nowt down the back of the sofa.

    Reap what you sow.

Things they did today besides carry a coffin.
    • two blokes sat in their North Stand in hi-viz and hard hats
    • blew whistles for the first fives mins and pissed off their new manager :D he said it didn't help them, hence they conceded an early goal.
    • still bought food and drink despite supposedly "protesting".... Silly ********

Do you think Chansiri is really going to take any notice of these pointless protests. He’s probably laughing his tits off somewhere.
