Feature on unhappy players, transfers and how poor Aston Villa are being held back having to sell players to adhere to finance rules. They have owners who want to spend. Seem to remember Wednesday fans saying same about Chansiri - he wants to spend - why is he being held back? Talking about £50 million as if it’s pennies. Meanwhile teams could go out of business with a shortfall of £500k Just hate the greed in football.
Weren't so long ago they were in the Championship. A lot of these clubs need to have stricter punishments
The way that some of the players have gone on recently has been disgraceful, about time clubs wised up and put financial penalty clauses into contracts for refusing to train, play or forcing moves.
You would think they have, can’t imagine Newcastle are paying him to refuse to pay, trouble is couple of weeks wages won’t matter to him. Also the small matter that they can’t fine a player more than 2 weeks wages.
Hey I've got nowt against Aston Villingham, at least they dislike Birmingham like we do lol. But I'm just sick of hearing about how these Prem clubs are struggling and finding it hard, etc!.
The thing is, it's the established teams like man u, arsenal Chelsea Liverpool won't want the new teams with money, villa and Newcastle breaking into the top of the table. Man city will be the last to do it. They pushed for PSR rules to keep them at the top
They're waiting to see where City looks like finishing; less than top six, points deduction. In the top six, drag it on longer.
Yeah the PFA would be all over them fir more than 2 weeks it's crazy, but financial penalties in the contract can be enforced, but then they probably wouldn’t sign greedy barstewards
Liked every point but if I'm a billionaire whose passed all the required regulations supplied by the relevant authorities. Why can't I try and break the status quo? I think something has to be done. However, the person penalised should be the billionaire owner if he gets bored. Bring in legislation that safeguards the club's and not the owners. Don't penalise good owners for aspiring to want to challenge the big clubs by spending "their" money.
Perhaps an 'emergency fund' matched to wage bill deposited with the governing bodies, to be used if the club is left not able to cover it's outgoings.
