A nail biting game with really odd rhythm. Peterborough the better team for large parts but we could easily have scored 4 or 5 against a pretty toothless Peterborough team.

Odd to see a Peterborough team without a dangerous forward.

Anyway Vickers for me. Some quality on the ball but also some great pressing. Cooper was a close second imo.

Hopefully that was a one off from Shepherd his passing was very poor and put us in jeopardy quite a few times.

if you wanna vote for a sub add it in the comments

Best 4 for me were Earl, Vickers, Kelly and Watson. Now to pick 1 of those.

I originally voted Vickers but changed my mind to Cooper.

    Difficult choice.

Vickers at half time was the player miles ahead of the rest.

He dropped off a bit 2nd half, but Kelly made a massive impact.

I've chosen Vickers, cos of the overall impact, but it could easily have been "Didzy" had he scored. The only thing missing off his game tonight.

I’m still dithering between the 2 myself. That first half save as very good.

I thought tonight Earl was excellent. His best performance for as-long as I can remember in a red shirt, arguably the best he’s been for us.

For that reason he’s my choice of man of the match.

Despite it being a tight game, there's 4 or 5 I would happily give it to tonight. I thought Cooper, Earl, Watson, Vickers and Kelly were all excellent.

I've gone for Earl. I've slated him in the past, but I'd say that was one of his best performances for us tonight. He won everything, and bailed Shepherd out a couple of times when he made an error.

Josh Earl for me. Also mentions for Cooper, Kelly first half; Connell second half.

Too wasteful in the final third for anyone more forward thinking but clean sheets will take us far.

Positive again in that there are a number of strong candidates. Cooper was pretty much flawless, Earl did well, Vickers was the touch of class going forward and Kelly a midfield powerhouse.

Had to go for Vickers again.

Are are super lucky to have him and if he gets us up it would be great to think a deal could be done.

Very tough one today. Nobody has mentioned Ogbeta yet, which I'm slightly surprised about. However, that victory was built on a clean sheet (finally), and I thought Cooper was absolutely flawless in goal. Handled the ball extremely well in very slippy conditions and made an excellent save at 0-0 when we weren't at our best. Moments like that win games.

Vickers for me. Excellent. His engine is unreal - what a player!

Think Earl was okay despite dwelling on the ball a few times & losing it. Shepherd the same, some of his passing today was extremely dangerous, and we were lucky not to concede 2 from them.
Think Kelly was excellent. Especially that second half.

McGoldrick excellent target man again. Shame about his finishing because he could have had hattrick today!

DKD - just doesn't feel right him at that left wing spot. Works incredibly hard but he doesn't get on the ball nowhere near enough and when he does, slows the game down alot. On Saturday, his passing was atrocious. Bit better today, although nothing special.

So I've been told Vickers by my son, but I've got to credit the clean sheet so Earl it is!

It's actually crazy how good Vickers has been for us. So good going forward but the shift he puts in defensively - incredible. He'll have a brilliant career if he keeps it up with his attitude & hard work.

Tough choice. Apart from Shepherd there’s a case to be made for all the defenders plus Kelly but with the goal, Vickers get my vote
