https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c05ed5rgld3o WTF is it going to take for British and American governments to act and stop this madness? This is now becoming outright complicity in the forced starvation, ethnic cleansing and genocide of a people. I feel angry, heartbroken, disgusted, appalled, ashamed and utterly helpless at what's being allowed to happen. History will remember our role in this. Free Palestine.
No point raising this on a football forum in the middle of a country with no influence a thousand miles away from the issue. Go there and make your point otherwise it’s just typing on a keyboard.
We all type on keyboards. You've just done it yourself. As to going to Gaza to make a point - it would be meaningless. Its about governments doing something and reigning Israel in. Rather than proscribing Palestine Action for a bit of painting Lammy, Starmer and Cooper should stop selling weapons to Israel and they should also have the balls to put sanctions on. They wont though so I suggest you get on your keyboard and write to your MP. Sorry for the keyboard rant - I'll see how much flights are to Gaza and see if I can get a nice hotel booked by the seaside....
We will never stop selling weapons to Israel mate. In future wars, we will probably fund and profit from both sides too. Our politicians love some blood money.
I work for a humanitarian aid charity. We’ve had a dozen trucks full of baby formula and non-perishable food stuck on the Jordanian border for months now. One of my colleagues is from the West Bank originally. She lost her parents in July. It’s ok though. The UK government say the actions of Israel are intolerable. That’s after supplying weapons throughout, doing aerial reconnaissance and months ago saying Israel had the right to cut off power and water to Gaza. What a world.
Genuine question. Do you think this genocidal maniac cares a jot what the British think? We think our last few governments are a collection of out of touch dimwits so why would you think British opinion matters to this lunatic? It’s just a bit of noise that he’s not remotely interested in. It might make the participants feel a bit better about themselves but it makes not 1 iota of difference to this crank.
He must care as he’s often criticised us and has obvious heavy influence in this country, so to say he’s not remotely interested is wrong
I agree about Neyanyahu not caring what others think. He's shown that attitude all the time. However, the British Government could do several things (which they've sometimes done to other regimes). They could stop selling weapons and intelligence. They could put some forms of sanctions on trade. They could seize assets of key Israeli politicians. As I said though they haven't got the spine to do any of that so effectively they're not just standing on the sidelines - they're assisting Netanyahu. He's laughing at everyone.
