Is it only my wife that does this?

She is in bed. You come upstairs and just as you are about to get in bed she says "can you go down stairs and get me............."

Or if you are upstairs and your wife is downstairs and shouts you so you come downstairs to ask want she wants and then says "Can you go upstairs and get me.........."

Do you think she's too good for u?when I was younger old boys used to say let the women think there in control,I never listened,haha single 54 year back I just put myself on streets not going into detail but got a nice new home,15yrs I was with her,but I think she's having you as abit of an unfortunate soul,haha your life mate,if your in bed tired it's wrong.

Not quite like that but she’ll say things like ‘when you next come up will you bring so & so’.

We’ve got a downstairs loo so I might not be coming up for 2 or 3 hours if she’s gone to bed early or is watching tv in bed while I watch football.

And then when I inevitably forget said thing she acts like I’m an idiot.

It is what it is, I’m sure I’ve got plenty of annoying traits.

 

My wife will often walk past the fridge, then ask me to get something out of it two minutes later. Or she'll watch me making a snack for myself then decide that she wants the same snack only once I've put all the ingredients back in the fridge and cupboard.

 

Mine sits in the living room with me never sez owt then goes in the kitchen and starts having a conversation with me which I can't hear..resulting in me going in the kitchen to ser wot she's on about....

 

There's no way on earth that I'd have that situation with MY wife.......we live in a bungalow!

Always finish your Wife's requests with, Yes Dear, stay happy, do as yer teld.

Whatever i've said or done in the past she remembers everthing, even the things i aint done or said.

Aint spoke for weeks, now she's interrupting the tv programmes

I am no DIY or decorating expert. Wife wants a DIY or decorating project doing and I am the designated person doing it whilst her role is more of a supervisory position.

If it's not done to the standard she was hoping for therefore its my fault.


Wife has gone to bed therefore it must be my bedtime.

Going on a supermarket shopping trip. Wife says "remind me not to forget to get......." we get home from said trip. I'd not reminded her to get the item. My fault obviously.


I am driving and the wife is in the passenger seat. We come to traffic lights that are at red. I stop. The lights change to green. Wife says to me "lights are green" so glad she told me that otherwise I would still be there now.

I'm asked by me wife to do something. "give me a minute love and I'll do it" is my reply.

"I'll do it myself then" she says passively aggressively.
