Herr Farage has had the ear of the media this morning.

All sounds very familiar. Stop boats in days. Deport every asylum seeker, including children. Even to countries they have no chance of getting a returns agreement for and the undercurrent of creating 'camps' in former military bases.

    It's getting deeply concerning.

The media need to stop asking him about refugees and small boats and start asking him:
    - what he’s going to do with the NHS
    - what he’s going to do with the welfare state
    - what he’s going to do regarding tax and the richest members of society
    - what he’s going to do re budgets for local councils
    - who he’s going to bring into the Cabinet, etc

Only by hearing all this will the turkeys realise they are voting for Christmas.

The man who caused the ‘small boat crisis’, by lying to get people to vote us out of the EU, is now trying to get elected on the back of the ‘small boat crisis’. Crazy. And the people who have seen the country go to the dogs cos of the lies that Farage sold them are now voting for him again. Have they not learned anything?!

Labour need to stop talking about immigration and just get on with the work they are doing, which is slowly sorting it out. They need to bring the conversation round to Reform’s other plans. They are not going to beat Reform on immigration, because Reform will just keep on ramping it up and spreading more ******** to get the, let’s face it, racists frothing at the mouth, until they end up pledging to shoot on sight anyone with darker skin than them. They need to be getting Farage to talk about their other plans and expose them for what they are, charlatans, using racism to get the votes, so they can shape policy to increase their own personal wealth.

600,000 to be deported in five years.

Disused air bases to house people.

Deals with Rwanda and the Taliban.

£2,500 to be offered to each asylum seeker if they voluntarily go back.

The Ascension Islands as a fall back.

This is all completely laughable. And they’re miles ahead in the polls. What an uneducated country this really is.

Anyone thinking of voting for Farage Ltd should be sent to the moon.

Surely the Turkeys already voted for Xmas in the last election, putting Sliar Starmer and Co in number 10.

At least with the Tories you sorta knew what to expect looking after the top earners etc.

This government haven't got a clue what they actually stand for. Promise after promise broken.
Their main promise not to increase taxes, well also a porky. Chancellor even said so herself on the Beeb that in the October budget taxes will have to to increase.

Is there any wonder people are looking for alternatives?

Not to forget that when the Tories tried to use a military camp in Lincolnshire a few years ago, it was mostly Fartage's supporters who protested against it and got it stopped. I bet he didn't mention that.

Sorry for the source, but I wonder when the use of disused air bases to house immigrants stopped being "a cultural desecration" and became policy.

Would you mind taking me through exactly which parts of the Labour manifesto have been delivered on and which haven't. And what particular thing they a re not doing that the previous governments were that makes them so bad?

No government in history has been able to deliver on everything they intend to... But this is the first that is being judged on extremely narrow criteria which have been assessed exclusively by an opposition who wants desperately to be in power themselves, after barely one year.

This government is pretty ****. But it's already light years better than everything we had for the previous 14 years, and it's only a quarter of the way into its first term.

What is it, for you, that has actually CHANGED for the worse since Starmer came to power? Because as far as I can see most things relating to immigration are actually improving and the fundamental issues all date back to the batshit insane policies of the previous government.

The most laughable thing they get criticised for is so called U-turns. How dare they take feed back on board when something doesn't work and look to adapt and work with people. They should just be doubling down on failed policies like trustworthy old Boris always did!

The issue is that too many people don't want action. They want to be charmed. Its the real reason we're so absolutely f**ked.

But go on. Lets appoint as PM a corporate lobbyist who has held two elected positions in the UK and has delivered...

    Ummm...

Help me out. Name one single thing Farage has actually delivered in over 20 years as an elected official.

It's largely unknown here, but Germany uses disused airports and old military bases to house migrants.

I fear that on current projections, they'll get in and, as their disastrous attempts to run local councils have shown, the country will be fu¢ked to oblivion. Oh for sure, they'll gain some traction on immigration, flags, mandatory spitfire displays, portraits of the king and hot & cold running Vera Lynn, but you can kiss goodbye to the NHS, education, trade, the economy, social care, public services, the arts and the UK's standing on the world stage.

Still, at least we'll have are ¢untry bak.....

I wasn't arguing against using old military camps, I was just pointing out that there would inevitably be protests against their use and specifically protests by the type of person likely to be a Farage supporter.

Interesting that the NAO looked at the feasibility of using former military bases last year and concluded it was far more expensive than using hotels.

Has any journalist actually thought of asking the Fagash Fuhrer how he plans to fund all his promises? Surely cancelling net zero can only go so far. There was a review of the figures touted by Deform to fund this plan last week, and whilst he claims it will cost £10 billion over 5 years, the more realistic cost is between £15-£20 billion over the 5 years.
