I did note from his speech yesterday that he was going to pay the Taliban to take back asylum seekers from Afghanistan. That would be the same Taliban-controlled Afghanistan that the asylum seekers fled from and we'd be paying them to take back and likely execute their own citizens...

If you support that, or are ok with that, you are scum.

 

The ECHR and other international treaties concerning human rights are there for a good reason.

 

Having done a few tours of Afghanistan and seen close up how the Taliban work, I can categorically say that giving them money has to be the most stupid idea that Deform have ever had, and they have had some belters when it comes to stupid ideas.

Reform candidate has to be a very appealing job prospect right now. You could be completely incompetent but chances are there will be dozens who are even worse so you might not be noticed. Wonder if there's room on the gravy train.

None of this really matters anyway, because Farage couldn’t really care less about immigration. That’s just the tool to win him votes from people too stupid to look at the rest of his policies. The first things he’d do as PM would all be things to make himself and his pals considerably richer. So scrap the NHS and take an axe to the spend on welfare state, local councils, etc, in order that he can slash the top rate of income tax will be his first priority. Then taking us out of the ECHR so all his pals who own businesses can save a load of money by rolling back all the employee rights, etc.

Once he’s done all this, the folk who only voted for him because of immigration should have stopped caring about immigration themselves, but they won’t, because they’ll still be blaming their woes on the foreign family down the street and not Farage for lying to them again.

 

The Reform Council in Nottingham have put a local paper on a banned list for reporting that there were plans to restructure local governance. Local MP, 30p Lee has endorsed the move.
