If we beat them for the first time since 1996 I will be unable to be shaken in my conviction that Conor is the second coming of Danny Wilson.
More like second coming of Hecky. Same division. Won playoffs as a player. Etc etc. Appreciate there’s no relevance to Reading and 1996. But Conor once walked past Elm Park.
An absolutely appalling record against them at Oakwell this century - we have to be due a win against them here soon
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3937919 What a team we had last time we beat them at home.
Disagree. Hecky took over a team on the up, Conor took over one struggling. Brought in that season, player coach that didn't work out, plenty of hammer from the fans, takes what he had and gets more from it than the previous manager, bloods youngsters etc. I'm just hoping we sign a little Trinidadian in January who we can't find a shirt that fits.
Not convinced we were playing 4-4-2 though. Surely Davis, Appleby and De Zeuuw as a back 3 and Thompson and Eaden as wing backs.
My apologies... never cottoned onto that ... now where's that holding your head in your hand emoji lol
